Ginny Weasley - Other Love Interests: Ginny and...
Neville Longbottom
This is plausible, if H/H actually is the winning ship in canon. We know Neville asked Ginny to the ball in GoF (even if it was after he asked Hermione, poor boy) which can be interpreted loosely as him liking her - though there is no real evidence of that. Ginny doesn't refuse him either, even when she's given the chance to go with her object of affection, Harry. This is either a demonstration of her noble character, or a hint that she actually likes Neville and wants to go to the ball with him. (Doubtful, seeing as the rest of the night had Neville dancing on her feet.) Ginny and Neville are definitely friends, however, and Ginny is known to come to his defense - ie, in OoTP, when Neville says he's "Nobody", Ginny immediately admonishes him and declares sharply, "No you're not." All in all, there is indication that G/N could come about in canon, but I personally think it is a bit of a ploy on JKR's part... a distraction, if you will, from H/G. After all, we can't have the path to true love smooth... not that it's been smooth anyway. After the advent of OoTP, there have been speculations that Neville/Luna are a possibility.
Michael Corner
The ex-boyfriend! Ginny dated him throughout the majority of OoTP (and apparently during parts of GoF, too, but that wasn't revealed to us until OotP). She met him at the Yule Ball, and they progressed from there. He was referred to once as "the fool" and is known for being slightly distrusting of Harry. Ginny broke up with him (or as she put it, "ditched him") after Gryffindor defeated Ravenclaw in Quidditch and he got sulky. Evidently Michael ran to comfort Cho, and they are together now.
Dean Thomas
Ginny and Dean start dating at the end of OotP, which was quite a surprise! They seem to get along pretty well and for the better half of HBP Ginny seems quite happy with her choice of boyfriend. But their relationship starts getting a bit "rocky" after a while and finally Ginny breaks up with him (much to his chagrin) because she was tired of him always trying to help her up the Fat Lady's portrait hole. Whether that was the real reason or just an excuse is left to the reader's imagination...
Draco Malfoy
This is a popular ship. It also is highly improbable. It is very much fanon induced - nowhere in canon (well, with the exception of the Flourish and Blott's scene in CoS) can you really derive any proof or indication of D/G. Not to mention they are from rival families, hate each other's guts and have never exchanged more than a few sentences at most. (Romeo and Juliet, anyone? Nah, it's very different from that.) All in all, there is a huge gaping hole in the D/G fleet, but that's never stopped anyone from shipping anything before, has it, so why should it now?
Hermione Granger
I highly doubt either Ginny or Hermione are lesbians. It's okay in fanon though, I am not against slash in the least.
Ron Weasley
NO. Just NO. (What is with all the incest ships?! Just gross!) Same goes for any other character whose last name is "Weasley".
